I am a female U.S. citizen and just married a Canadian Citizen-I was issued a Visitors Record at the border crossing-and it is valid for one year. I guess I am uncertain of my status-do I or should I still maintain my residence in the U.S. ( I only live 10 minutes away) since I am still under a "visitor status"? I still plan on keeping my job in the US so will my every day travel back and forth be a problem? I was told there was no need to change my Nexus information and that I could still travel with my leased vehicle because of my visitor status-does that sound true? Any extra info or links about visitor records would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
