Subject: Immiigrtion Query

i had applied for pr to canada under skilled worker category in Nov.2006 ,after that i got married in nov.2008..........
I just wanted to confirm that can i file a new application under skilled worker by making my wife as principal applicant .
I just want to do this because now the processing times for the new applications are 8-12 months.
what will i have to do for this ?
