Subject: Refusal Letter?
Hi! I was refused in my application to PR in Canada. Just want to know if you are been refused will all your documents will be returned to you? Even the application papers with a stamp of you are " DENIED" or just a letter of refusal? If a letter how long will it be recieved after the interview. Because in my case, I was behind 2pts for to passibg mark thats why the consul told me that I was redused but he never returned to me some of my original docs like COE´s, Police clearance, passposrt photos, application forms, etc. what does it mean?

please enlighten me, because as of now im still in shock why i was refuse! I waited this for so long......! wwwhhaahhhh

tnx
chi

When did you apply and what visa post? I don´t think they will return all your docs.

They do not return your papers. That is why they ask you to submit notarised copies, and not the originals. Do not worry about the refusal. You can apply again. Just make a plan to raise your points. I was refused once due insufficient points...This time I qualify.

Did you actually go for an interview/ (in reply to: Refusal Letter?)
Sorry to hear what happened! Did you acutally go for an interview and then were told about the denial? Or they simply sent you a letter saying your case had been denied? Thanks for helping us out here.

hi april,

thanks fo the reply and sort of encouragement. By the way how long for me to wait to re-apply? At your second application, you said you qualify already how long did you wait for a decision? Is it another 3-4 years? Because i applied 2001 and now only come my inetrview. Are you been called for another interview? Are they still strict?

Please enlighten me more.

thank you very much,
chi

Hi april,

I forgot to ask, how about your application form were they been returned to you with a stamped of "DENIED" or "REFUSED"? How did you know that you were also refused? Did they send you a refusal letter or you also had interview and told there that you have insufficient points?

thanks again,
chi

Hi Chi,

There is no time limits for a new application. Just make sure you increase your points(Education, one more year in employment or other language...)I applied first time in 1998 while I still had my work permit after grad. At that time I was misinformed and did not get the points for arranged employment, since my visa expired before the decision. Not even the local PM could help me with that. During my studying in Canada my particular NOC had gone down in new occupation list and you know the rest. When they changed the law I qualified. Also I had full years in required occupational level. For my language I also got full points for living in English speaking countries for so long.In 1998 my refusal came with a polite letter stating they have assesed my points for NOC and I did not qualify. I did not have an interview. I hope this helps.
