Hey guys, does any body know if it´s possible to get a temporary work permit while the PR application is in progress ?

yes, my friend is now in Canada on a working permit, prior to that she applied for PR

Yes, yes. that´s me. Got worker permit first through interco transfer and then applied for PR

Was it issued under the NAFTA provisions ? or you had to get the HRDC approval ? what is interco transfer ?
See, I just got my IA on jan 7th, but I want to explore all the possibilities to go to Canada right away since the job is kind of low down here (M?xico). I did some research and found that if getting a work permit under the NAFTA there is not need to get HRDC approval; but there´s a part that says: ".... this should not be used as a mechanism to circunvent procedures applicable to permanent residence...."
