Focus on the positive and not the negative.

I am not a Doctor nor am I experienced enough to give you an informed answer.

If your problem is not costing the Filipino Health Care providers to treat you regularly why would it eliminate you as an excessive demand issue.

I understand it is a concern because the two of you have been separated for some serious time but think positive all should be well.

As long as your disease is not contagious (infectious)such as T.B., HIV, STD..etc there is hope. If the disease is not infectious, the decision is usually based on its management cost. Cardiac diseases for example are costly ..frequent visits, open heart surgery!!..etc. In contrast, eye disease (such as glaucoma as in your case) should not very costly. We don´t know how the immigration handles it.

Fact is - As a Spouse, the Canadian immigration system does not discriminate against spouses who will need medical care. The post above is flawed... HIV, T.B. CANCER, STD etc is allowed if the person being sponsored is a Spouse or a dependent child.

Please visit the Canadian Immigration website for facts.
