Subject: E-Client Question: In Canada Family Class
  Ok here is my question:
I applied for In Canada Family Class Sponsorship through my wife. CIC received my application packet on December 13th. It has now been 1month and 6days. There is no record for me on E-Client yet...

How long does it take for a case to show up on E-Client?

What all with E-Client tell me?

Realistically, have they even begun to look at my application?

Say if by chance my application packet is sent back to me, will it have to start the queing process all over again, or is its place in line held?

I just have so many ´what-if´ scenarios running through my head that it hurts and anyone with any information on timelines and such for similar cases of spousal sponsorship, IN Canada, please let me know.

Our case is simple, there are no children, and my wifes income is very sufficient for sponsoring means. Will that make my case process faster?

Anyhow... thank you all in advance.

Forrest

e-client does not seem to be very current or reliable. I see reports on this forum all the time about files being much further along than what is being reported on the website.(we were so frustrated that we have stopped checking it) You sent in your application over the Christmas season. You might have lost a few days with stat holidays etc. I would not be surprised if your get mail very soon. good luck.

Nope, no confirmation yet (in reply to: E-Client Question: In Canada Family Class)
Thank you for replying...

No I havn´t received confirmation of any kind. How long does that usually take?

From what I can see on the CIC waiting periods, for approval in principle, it seems as though they are at about 5months, as they are processing applications from mid-august. I do hope it goes fast, I can´t wait to have PR.

Thanks,
Forrest

We applied for inland spousal sponsorship as well. CIC in Vegreville received ours on Nov. 17th and no reply. An immigration agent has told me sit back and wait with the increasing work they have and no overtime allowed that it would be 3 months after they received the application that it would be opened.

There is NO acknowledgement of recipt for inland applications. (AOR is for outside applications only). Waiting for e-client can take as much as 4 months. Some people have waited 6 months before anything shows up on e-client. It all depends on how busy CIC is.

Want to sponsor Cousin (in reply to: E-Client Question: In Canada Family Class)
I am a permanent residence in Canada for past two years. I would like to sponsor my cousin from India. I have no close/blood relative in Canada. Please advice if it is possible and what are the requirements.

Look forward for your response.
