  Dear Samm & Sharon!

My name is jay from India.
I m former full time Student from Canadian Post secondary Institution in ontario Canada
I m done with my Studies in Canada..i m back to india, now i wish to apply as Canadian Experience Class...so i Went through rules & Requirements for canadian experience class & skilled worker class..
all i need some guidelines

-> Name of Study i have Done in Canada: Canadian Commercial Pilot

-> Name of Study I have done in India: 1. B.Sc (Physics)--> 3 Years, 2. Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engg--->2 @ Half Year + 6 months of apprenticeship in Airlines, 3. Diploma in Advance Software Tech---> 3 Year.

I have worked for 12 months as an Airport Ramp Attendant in Canada in Same institution where i used to study, which is also mentioned in NoC Code 7437..
I don´t have work experience in India..

I calculated point for Skilled Worker Category..unfortunately which comes 63 after calculation..

but my IELTS expired 2 years ago, and looking forward to learn French and willing to Give TEF & IELTS...

so can i apply as Canadian Experience Class or I should wait & gain same experience here for 1 - 2 years as Airport Ramp attendant and then apply as a skilled worker category?

any help will be appreciated

regards,
Jay

You need to first confirm whether your education and employment meet the conditions for Canadian Experience Class. As far as I know, education from only certain institutions is considered. You say that you worked for one year in Canada while studying, for CEC your work experience should have been gained after 2 years of study in Canada. If you meet these conditions then you can apply now else wait to accumulate sufficient experience and apply as federal skilled worker.

Quebec immigration fle number (in reply to: Dear Samm & Sharon !! Help Needed !)
I just received my Quebec immigration file number. I tried to check the status in the website but I can´t get through. It says that File number should start with the letter B and followed by 10 digit number. Mine starts with HA and has 8 numbers. I can´t find a button in Quebec immigration website to check status. Why is that?

You can check your status once you have received the approval from Quebec authorities and have submitted your file to the Federal authorities, i.e., CIC serving your area.
