Some people in the east have always viewed the people from Alberta to be the Hillbillies of Canada. The Alliance, Reform the Conservatives to be the rednecks from Alberta. Give me a pick up truck and I´m in heaven.

The current Conservative Government has had major gag orders on all of their Minister´s and rarely if ever there was a comment by anyone of them to the media. Within the last three months three top media advisors to the Prime Minister office have quit...hmmmmmm
LET THE FLOOD GATES OPEN!

VANCOUVER Immigration and Appeal Division is so under staffed it could be four years before any PR who has been ordered deported due to criminality gets to have there case heard at appeal. Plenty of time for a pardon!!!
TORONTO Immigration and Refugee Board is so under staff I got a client from Mexico running away from the drug cartels unable to seek state protection waiting three plus years for his hearing. there is virtually no members to hear cases.
What does the Minister of Immigration do to speed up the process?
HE REQUIRES MEXICAN´S TO OBTAIN VISITOR VISA´S!

I never suggested politicians are bright. In fact anyone with half a brain avoids politics like the plague.
What I will suggest is immigration is only part of a government and its policies and I would hate to pick and choose a government based on only one criteria - immigration policy.

Immigration is such a huge Cash Cow but the Minister should be silent. Hopefully he will find Consultants another Regulator when he brings his changes out in the fall, if there is no election.
