Thanks everyone for your replies. We did our medicals on Sep´04,and submitted our FBI,PPC and Bank Statement and couple of additional documents over the next few months.Our last document was sent on 15th Dec´04 to Canadian Consulate.On 19th Jan´05,I got an email from my lawyer asking for the money for landing fees as they heard from the Canadian Consulate requested for the same.So,I was wondering if they are working with our file,and if we can expect to hear from in near future.
Any help very much appreciated.Just keeping my fingers crossed.

they do not usually ask for money until the file is virtually approved. maybe needs the medicals and police clearances.

Normally within 2 months you will have pp after paid landing fee
