Find an employer who is willing to hire you and willing to demostrate to the provincial governemnt that he/she is unable to find a resident of Canada to fill that position.

Once your employer gets a Favorable Labour Opinion from the department of Human Resources Development of Canada then you may be able to apply for a work permit. Bare in mind that all this has to happen before you arrive in Canada.

If you meet the requirements under regulation 179 a work permit visa will be stamped in your passport and a valid work permit will be issue at the port of entry when you arrive in Canada.

Cheers,

Bill

I think the problem lies in getting someone to hire you....not many employers want to go through that long process of hiring a foreign worker when there are people here who can do the same job

Here´s some light for you about going to Canada IT Guy:

Don´t.

Stay in your current job and career. India needs you more.
You come to Canada, your degree will be put into the trash bin and 99% chance you´ll become a fast-food restaurant staff with bleak future.

Again, DON´T

good luck
