| Subject: how to find out about jobs in Canada |

I have applied for a skilled worker visa. I have a bachelors in engineering, and over 10 years experience in the field. But I am no longer interested in working in the same field when I go to Canada. Can you help me look for a suitable job or point me in the right direction?

Wow great decision especially if you are from India or Pakistan that is the best decision... let me help you ..For sure you can wash dishes, clean buildings, work at McDonalds or Tim Hortons, but if you are from India or Pakistan I am sorry even finding a job there could be difficult...but, wait woow you are still a lucky man!!! you can drive a cab here..or pick berries, or grapes for 8 dollars an hour ... Dont worry that is beautiful money, you will have a great car, you will buy your own house just after a year, welcome to canada, nothing can be more adventurous than that .... !!!! i am sure you own citizens in this country will give you better information, how beautiful this place is ...hope you come one day and see what I really mean ...

adventurous_guy, sorry to say this, but they won´t give a d@mn about your bachelor and 10 (even 30) years experience. In the end, 99% chance you will end up in minimum wage ($8/hour) and dirty job, maybe for the rest of your life. But if you are okay with that, welcome to Canada.
Why on earth I can say this? Because i´ve been there myself, but I got out soon, to prevent further damage to my financial condition and dignity. So my advice, stay out of Canada.
Don´t say we didn´t warn you.
