Subject: DIY or NOT?
Hi, Just wanted to know if it´s manageable to complete Skilled Worker application process without the services of Immigration Consultants or whether it gets too difficult? I´ve passed through initial free assessment and paid for a formal assesment which stated may prove positive. I have occupation on NOC list which is in demand and advised 6-12 mths processing time. Do I go alone or pay for the services of the professionals. I´ve downloaded forms from internet and they don´t look too difficult but I have the odd question here and there , having read them. Any advice?

6-12 months is extremely optimistic so I must wonder about what else you have been told by the "professional".

SW apps... pretty straight forward. Answer the questions completely, make sure you have all your documents that support the NOC code closest matching your skills and when you get stuck, there is usually someone here that can assist.

Pay yourself to be careful and complete rather than pay a stranger that does not care one way or another if you are successful.

Thanks for your advice. Don´t mind waiting and take our time to go through the app carefully. We note that we don´t send photo´s on initial app form, if approved for further consideration, we send them later? Also how do we the converstion rate of $550CAD to GBP so that it is correct?

Sharon he did say use a "professional" not a smuck.

Sometimes it is better to pay for quality assistance then DIY. I admit finding a real "professional" can be difficult.

Watch HGTV when they have that guy go around to finish all the home renovations never completed by the well intentioned husband.

Sharon I care about every client. Your getting mean again, why. lol.

What ever is your Visa Post look up the payment details there on their web site it will be clearly explained. Make sure about four months in that you have collected all of your documents that are necessary because when they ask you will have no extension of time to collect them.

didn´t think you were doing SW any more! sorry :) yes, I am cranky these days. Moving in 8 days (not ready), stupid busy at work, not sleeping well and that is more than enough...
