| Subject: Internship: Does this count as Work Experience? |

I worked for a company for 10 months in Canada. 4 of those months I was a full-time intern; I was paid with a "honorarium"; $1600 lump sum for four months. Then I was hired full-time with salary for 6 months.
For the Canadian Experience Class of immigration, I know I need 12 months. And since I started this internship in January of 2008, I guess I need to apply soon to make it count.
So my question is: does this internship count, since it was paid but not salary or wages or anything? Just to verify, it´s okay if I get my final 2 months of work in a completely different field in a completely different job, right?
