Well, I guess Internet is your friend.
What to do: do good things
What not to do: don´t do bad things

Don't, for your sake (in reply to: Migrating soon, need tips and help)
My advice, Faizan, unless you don´t have any hope in your native country, please avoid Canada. But if you are fine with minimum wage and dirty job (maybe for the rest of your life), so welcome to Canada.
Don´t say we didn´t warn you.

Only bachelor? There are immigrants who have Master degree and Phd driving cabs for a living.

For your sake, don´t come here if you don´t have a single hope in your native country.

There are a lot of immigrant stories. I was skeptical about the bad news also in the beginning, because I was like you, excited in moving to Canada. But now? I´m going to throw away my PR Card as soon as I return home.

Again, don´t say we didn´t warn you.

Read the facts and open your eyes. Don´t end up like me and so many others.

There are lots of success stories but guess it´s not sensational enough for the media. Put it in context people - Canada admits more the 200,000 immigrants EACH YEAR, not to mention the thousands who came illegally, and the hundreds of thousands who chose to come here to work, study ... yet only a few thousand complaints about being under-appreciated, wow we should be so ashamed!!! For the doomsayers, check out the renounce Canadian Citizenship application at www.cic.gc.ca - we are very democratic here.

Well, of course Canada wants those immigrants and will try everything to lure them. Otherwise, who would fill in those dirty, minimum-wage jobs that Canadians don´t want to do?

Like I said, good luck.... welcome to Canada.
