Subject: How long to Wait - Applied in 2000
  Hi,

I had applied for Canada Skilled worker immig. in Sept 2k via New Delhi CHC. I received the file number and other details immiediately and thereafter no news. I had been updating Embassy with change in my employment and recently in April I submitted them my IELTS result sheet. I had scored 7.5.

But again till now no news.... Can any one help me in understanding what could be wrong with my application

Contact Immigration office (in reply to: How long to Wait - Applied in 2000)
I think you should contact Immigration office. Because it is not once that I heard application has been lost. If you applied in 2000 it is quite long time for them to respond.

Patience is the only way (in reply to: How long to Wait - Applied in 2000)
Dear friends,

We are a group of friends, who had applied for immigration to canada, in 2000 and 2001. You may visit us at
chennaitoronto@yahoogroups.com

It has been a torture to wait all along, particularly, when the age factor is against you.

I had received my waiver of interview in Nov 2003 and yet to get my landing papers.

But the worst part is , the employment scenerio in Canada is not that good. So if you are well placed here in India, do no resign your job.

Best wishes
