My friend yesterday received AOR(skilled worker) from buffalo stating that they are currently processing 36 weeks old applications.Anybody else who got similar letter please share your experience

I received my file no B#--- in Jun 2004. At that time they were processing files 52 weeks back.
What is AOR? Is it different than File no?
How long I have to wait for Medical and Police Enq.?
After that how much time it will take for PR?
Does anybody got request for Medical and Police Enq.?
