Seeking asylum...

Subject: Seeking asylum...
I am presently a US citizen. I wonder if I could seek asylum, based on the ongoing racial discrimination I face in the USA. I have several years of legal documentation and would be willing to testify to the intimidation and harrassment I have lived through. I fear for my future and the future of my child.

I have an advanced degree in the sciences and also am a trained culinary professional (no, I´m not kidding!). I am a hard worker and will birng that energy and commitment to your country.

I am looking for honest feedback regarding my chances of living and raising a child in Canada.

Sara

PS I have no friends or family in Canada to sponsor me and I do not have 400,000 of put up to start a business.

Sorry Sara but based on what you said, not a hope.

The United States is the melting pot of cultures and I have to admit that it is way more segregated than Canada and racial problems are by far more commom down there but every State and county is different.

If you want to immigrate to Canada you should look into the skill worker category to see if you qualify. I personally think is a better option rather than a refugee claim.

Cheers,

Bill
