will try to make my long story as short as i can.
i was deported from the state due to a illegal status , i had a student visa but i didnt leave when it expired . i got married overthere to a canadian spouse before the deportation (i was legal but i didnt have money to apply as spouse sponrship). So after the deportation we came to my home country (lebanon) and we apllied from there as spouse sponsorhip to the canadian embassy in syria.After 18 month they denied me coz i was deported from usa saying i can reapply after 2 years .
Is this normal according to law and wats my chances when i reapply after 2 years ?Do u think the denial is going to affect my case.( i have no criminal record either in lebanon or USA).

Most likely you just "forgot" to tell CIC that you got deported. No one gets excluded because they where deported from Switzerland or Lower Mongolia.

Are you sure you are refused due to your deportation record from the States?

yes, that is exactly what they told me , i went to couple laywers they were not surprised . i am just confused about my next step.
