Subject: I am currently also using post-secondary grad...
I am currently also using post-secondary graduation work-permit right now. I work for our municipal of Nanaimo. However, I know I would not get my PR done when my work permit will be expired on Nov 30th 2005.

Last year I also registered my own business related to immigration tour service, for example, like helping visitor international students doing tour and adventure recreation activities. Even though my SIN is beginning with 9, still can do that? Amazing.

My business is one of members of chamber of commerce of Nanaimo. I successfully got a HRDC funding job last summer to sponsor one of Canadian citizen working in my business. Actually she is girl, I know her in because she is Cactus Club Cafe waitress, I think young Canadian girls working attitude is really nice and friendly, help me a lot in growing up my business in Nanaimo.

My question is when my working permit gonna expired soon, is that possible, I apply for self-employ work permit renew? Do I still have to do HRDC process? Since I paid so much GST and income tax already and I also hired Canadian citizen, even though I use wage substitution. I got no problem to use reference from chamber of commerce to show that my business and I are benefit Nanaimo local economic, especially retail industry. Tax and revenue of Canada never kicked my ass because I am foreign who owns business in Canada, because I paid what I should pay, however, not sure about CIC, if they gonna deny my work-permit renew. I strongly think I am economic established in Canada before I became PR! I am not sure if they think so or not.

I have already submitted my skill-worked stuff last Nov 2004, So far no AOR yet.
Anybody has similar experience can be shared? Thanks
