Subject: International Student or General Practitioner

Hi,

I am an international PhD student at the University of Toronto.

My wife is a General Practitioner, she has graduated from my home country and she does not have a license here. She is now a housewife and has an open work permit.

I am going to apply for PR.

I wonder I apply as the principal applicant or my wife. Which one is faster (International Student OR foreign general practitioner)?
