Hello,
I will not be able to comply with the minimum stay of 2 years out of the five years. Because of my personal reasons I was out of Canada for 4 years. But now I am back and planned to settle down. I am planning to sponsor my spouse.
Will this affect the sponsorship application. If I mention the facts in the application I will be out of PR Status. How would I proceed? Can I hire the attorney? will it help.
Please help me.

I am thinking you will probably have to show CIC why you should retain your own status before you start thinking about sponsorship. If they leave your status intact, I also suspect they will want very clear proof that your notion of settling down in Canada is not simply to get status for your wife and then take off again.
if you get legal assistance, make sure the person you retain can show you similar cases they have worked on- and what was their strategy.

I am new to this forum, but I think that you will be better off retaining an immigration lawyer. Can you get legal aid?
As you are probably aware, the immigration process can be expensive and might take a long time depending on your unique circumstances.
