  I´m a student in Canada, and applying for PR. Here is the timeline for your information. Hope it is helpful.

Class: Skilled Worker

Sent application: june 2003
AOR: aug 2003
IA: apr 2004 (interview waived)
Medical/Docs/PC: July 2004
Waiting for Pp Req......

Hi folk,

CIC Buffalo is one of the most catasrophic CIC centers. I do recommend you to get your CAIPS notes and see if something is missing. Otherwise, they may ask for something now and for another thing two months later and just kill your time. Of course, I heard the time line highly depends on the officer who assesses your file. Good luck!

Good for you jonming! You probably become a citizen of canada by the time you graduate! And freely move to the US to work... if you don´t find jobs there! Good plan. Good thinking.

Hey what is CAIPS notes?..I applied under skilled worker category on Oct 28th. The Buffalo CIC office received it on 28th of October. I havent heard from them ever since, no AOR nothing..its been almost 3 months. Please let me know what is CAIPS notes and if i need it to get this ready right now will that be of help and save me time..thanks..

Here is my time line...

Aplication: skilled worker
Application reached Buffalo: 19th March 2004
AOR: 14th April 2004

IA: Interview waived and request for more documetns: November 2004.
Medicals: Nov 2004.
Medicals done in Jan 2005.
Additinal papers to be sent soon.
