  Dear Darren Maria,

Thanks for you kind advices about people of my age.
Sorry, but I can´t help it, it is way too funny. What makes you think that just because I am retired, I am an old timer?

The other day, I was in a Shriner´s meeting and when I introduced my self to the people we were meeting with, they laughed when I told them that I am no longer employed and I retired in beautiful Kelowna.

Example for my grandchildren you said? Man, my oldest son is not even 2 years old!!!!

Cheers,

Bill

Psd, I am off to the back room, I am brewing beer tonight!

your answer makes me think of my grandmother. she lived to be 101 and I recall asking her if she thought any differently now that she was older - no, she figured she was still 17 in her mind. But she was also very frustrated that her body did not always agree.

I had a snarky 20 something call me grandma the other day in a heated arguement. If she only knew how stupid she was and how much she still had to learn about the world and life in general she would have kept her mouth shut.

3 cheers for early retirement Bill! I AM TOTALLY JEALOUS.

LOL Roy, point taken!

I am old I guess then, in a few years I will be 40!!! I am dead serious!

I am actually thinking about teaching some courses here at the University during the winter season. I have been out of the work force for almost a year now and I am bored out of my mind. It is hard to change your daily routine. After working 14 consecutive years, with barely any time off in between, now I am completly lost.

One of these days, I will tell you the story (my story!).

Heading back to the back room, brewing is done, today I am bottling beer!.

Cheers,

Bill

now I am REALLY JEALOUS! under 40, semi retired, Kelowna, brewing beer, having enough time on your hands to be a great Dad, and bored to boot.

how sweet.

teaching because you love it would be a fabulous distraction and gift to your students.
