Subject: Processing Time for London Office
  Hi,

I am looking to submit my PR application as a skilled worker. I live in the UK, but when I looked in the CIC website, it said that the processing time is about 30-40 months.

I do not want to wait that long. Can you please tell me if I can submit my application to a different centre (e.g. Paris) as their processing time seems shorter?

Thanks in advance,
Andy

Hi Santosh,

Have you also worked at Unilever in Dubai? I think I know you. Anyway, I got my visa processed at Canadian High Commission in UK within 9 months.

Thanks,
Jack

Andy,

The processing times are for reference purposes only. Each case is different from other so it all depends on every unique situation. However, gnerally speaking, from UK, the processing time should not be more than a year, provided everything submitted was correct. First of all, you will have to send your file to CIC, Sydney, Nova Scotia for initial assessment. If found eligible, then the file will be transferred to UK high commission located at Grosvnor square/

Good luck!!
Jack
