In 2002 we sailed into the Cayman Islands and got a shock at the price of a Beer there. We arrived in June and with the heat and their prices we had difficulty quenching our thirst. Even the Cuban Beer "Crystal" brewed by Labatt´s and imported only about 40 miles from Cuba was so expensive we thought this Tax Haven can´t last.
We had entered many countries and only in the Cayman´s after being invited by their government was our ship searched three times by their customs department. Another Yacht that needed a part to continue and came in was stuck on the dock and the crew was not even allowed to get onto shore. We bought the part and threw it to them. There is worse stories about their customs department.
All the foreigners who worked for banks all had at least one Live In Care Giver with two or three maids.
Well times are tough in Cayman Islands. Boo Hoo
Now they have been told to consider direct taxes. I wonder how the people living in (HELL) CAYMAN ISLANDS feel now?

I am devistated by the boring Canadians who have got no life and who come here to kill their time, or use this site to satisfy their egos or advertise their business by keeping their names and webpage up todate. I can still understand the fact that such people have no life, no other way of filling the boredom in their life but when they abuse this site´s forum rules with their personal private bullshit it pisses me off...
I guess you guys have some reading skills and can get the overall gist of the rules in site let me reming you just some of them:
0. All topics to be in some way related to Canada´s Immigration. (Who cares about your holiday Mr. Roy? or Tax in Cuba etc.)
3. Don´t use any HTML tags. ( Why are you always using your website in this site? Advertisement? Is your business that bad and you need free advertisement by coming here and posting your bullshit almost everyday? )
5. Do not post content from another web sites. (Why are you always giving web pages here, are you talking to potential immigrants or want to have a chat with other bored canadians like Richard, Bill, Sharon ....???- How come whenever you post here - instead of those immigrants why do always the same people say something about your post - like Bill, Sharon Richard??? - Do you all belong to a canadian Club called WE HAVE NO LIFE?)
10. No personal/private information will be shared with third party. (Keep your personal life for yourself- and please if you are that concerned about immigrants and want to help them then instead of posting such XXXX , go to those posts with 000000 answer and help them!!!!)or IF you want to chat with your friends get their e mail addresses (I am sure you do know all !!!) or Msn or Messenger and talk to them -DO not abuse this forum while a lot of questions are unanswered!!!!)
13. NEW Do NOT post information about specific lawyers, consultants and similar. You may answer a question it is better to use a lawyer for this and that, but specific names of law firms, people names should not be used. Such posts will most likely be removed. (why this guy is always giving his name and his webpage on this site??-is there some kind of agreement between this site and MR. Roy?)

I am agree with you guys. I once participated in these forums long time back. i used to give my free advice to those seeking for the right information since I am in the canadian immigration field. doing both counselling and hands on in documentation process.I was giving advice only to help without advertising my personal business like roy did. these guys were trying to kick me out of this forums. made me conclude that they were working as a team and they wanted all help seekers to come to them for they have business. Roy is the head of the team and sharon and other characters must be his marketing team. they should be given awards for their good acting.

So (Wolverine) (viscous handle) is in the Canadian Immigration field -- which field is that since he provides counseling! Should we look at his/her bad advice previously?
When one can NOT answer a detailed question because they don´t know the answer and they come here for the free answer so they can tell their own clients because they are in the Immigration Field I feel sorry for these trolls who have to use names like Wolverine because on the net there is all kinds of negative postings about them.
Then the belly crawlers like anon123 who can not debate logically and turns to name calling. CHILD
Well little (b) bill who thinks he has a point. When I used to post just Roy and other people used to pretend to be me I started putting my website address three or four years ago to prove I was better then anonymous, Wolverine, etc.. I get lots of direct e-mails that I answer for free because some people want a more detailed response and do not want to show their dirty laundry in public so to speak so I provide a free service.
Many persons have complained here about Canadian Taxes but our (Canadian) beer can be bought for $1.00 with Tax included. If the original price of Beer in Cayman Islands is five times that without Taxes which is better for anyone´s pocket? Is not the Cayman Islands indirectly taxing stuff anyways?
The reason bill, Sharon, Richard, DC, Bill, Wannabe or others post something from one of my postings is that they find it interesting and if you don´t please ignore it. The topic of Immigration relates to all kinds of issues including settlement, establishment and day to day living like Taxes.
Now little (b) bill, DC, Bill, Wannabe, Richard etc. can confirm I do not have their e-mail addresses nor have I asked them for theirs.
Little (b) bill I post here early in the morning while waiting for a ---- to go all in at Texas Holdem when I have a better hand and posting here kills the time. I choose which post to answer and not answer and it is my life. Sailing into Cayman Islands on a 110 foot Schooner is not a life? Bill do you know what a Schooner is? You reading the rules and unable to answer one single immigration based question is a life?
I guess our interpretation of what is a life and what is not is some what different.

YOu have a point wolf. Roy and his marketing team must have a great talent in acting in order to promote their immigration consultancy business. Roy posts his topic and his marketing team participates.. and his sales agents posting questions, pretending that they are help seekers and ask for roy´s advice. seems this is the situation. that is my opinion.

must be a slow news day out there.
After about the 500th time of answering the same question one looks for other ways to engage on a forum. It would be great if there was a coffee shop section of the website - but there´s not. In the past 6 years or so people willing to assist with answering questions have come and gone. Currently, there are about 5 of us that are either Canadian or have completed the process that are still willing to hang around and help out. In trade, we have become online friends that have lives and interests and things we like to talk about beside how long the waiting times are for prospective immigrants.
If you want people to help answer questions, then you have to give them something in return. DC started out in Florida, Wannabee in Ohio, Bill in Texas, Richard is in Chicago, Roy is TO and I am in Vancouver. The only person I have met of this group of very nice people is Roy and that was only 3 months ago for the first time. I got a whirlwind tour of Toronto. We all have jobs, and Roy is the only one that earns a living in the immigration field.
Yes we could take our friendly conversation offline but this forum would become very quiet and the calibre of the answers would plummet. which would you prefer. A few posts that you are free to ignore and some good immigration advice or a wasteland of ignorance?
Get over it.
