Subject: The LCP should be diversified or cancelled |

The live-in caregiver program (LCP) should be diversified to include candidates from other countries such as China, India and Mexico. The main problem now with the program is that it relied too much on one single source country which is the Philippines and that totally contradicts with what the Canadian government aspires to be - a multi-cultural society.
If not, the Canadian government should cancel this controversial LCP thing. Australia has no LCP and is still surviving and good.

Who cares about a system broken? Not the Immigration Minister because he could be out of a job tomorrow or the Minister of Agriculture.
Live In Care Givers in the Philippines will pay up to $10,000.00 plus for anyone to assist them and the system is ripe for crooks. Anyone can assist anyone for a fee who is applying for a LMO or a WP as long as they have no intention of representing the client after submission.
They check everything on e-cas.
The Standing committee of CIC did a cross country tour where the heard plenty of comments about CSIC and recommendations were made to change things but..........
Like Live In Care Givers abused or Immigration Consultants seem to be of little concern to the current government. I agree that no community should control any market.
Things need to be changed now!
