Subject: Refund
Hi,

My application for permanent resident has been rejected. Does anyone know how much they will take to refund my money?

Or any contact number for this issue?

Thanks
Paras.

I am one of the post FEB 28 applicants. The letter mentions that I am not in the 38 NOC list so they will refund in few weeks. It has been 5 months and i don´t have the refund. Thats why I am asking this list.

Paras.

you are still part of the early applications so there is no real precident available in terms of waits for things. I would expect your refund to be in your hands shortly.

YOU WILL GET MONEY BACK BECAUSE YOUR CASE IS NOT PROCESSED.

If rejection is because of not meeting criteria according to ministerial instruction then the application fee is refundable(those not meeting criteria are not processed and your application was not processed).

Sharon, I am a great fan of you and Vancouver :), he should get refund according to OP6 ministerial instructions (Appendix D) within 4-6 weeks.

Follwoing is the part from the OP:

IF ONLY PROCESSING FEE WAS SUBMITTED:
The processing fee that you have paid is refundable. You will receive a cheque within four to six
weeks.

IF PROCESSING FEE AND RPRF WAS SUBMITTED:
The processing fee and the Right of Permanent Residence Fee that you paid are refundable. You
will receive a cheque within four to six weeks.
There are many ways to immigrate to Canada. Although you have not satisfied the requirements
to apply under the Federal Skilled Worker class, you may qualify under another category. To learn
more about your options, visit http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp.

Thank you for your interest in Canada.

Parasji,

NOC38 ko kunai criteria purayeko experience letter chha bhane you can reapply (transition period ma ho bhane).

May be the Embassy in New Delhi deals for your case and they take it quite longer (if you had submitted your form there during transition period) and its really trouble for Nepalese and Bhutanese to have to go to Delhi for any Canadian consular affairs.
