Subject: Priority Occupation List
  Hi All,
My sister is working in India in an Engineering College as a Lecturer (Management). Her highest qualification is MBA Management. I would like to know if she falls under any of the following priority occupation list for fast track processing:

21.University Professors
22.College and Other Vocational Instructors

Does she need to fill any extra form to get the advantage of fast track program or just the regular form?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
SK

At a face value it seems she is in the 38 occupations list.

She does not need to do anything beyond declaring herself as an applicant in category 1 and meeting the requirements.

There really isn´t any special priority stream. CIC is committed to processing the post FEB2008 qualifying applicants faster. That´s all.

I am a Senior SAP ERP consultant with over 11 years of experience in IT .My job designation is Senior SAP consultant/Specialistst, thereby i do not directly fall into the category of 38 NOC list [0213: Computer and Information Systems Managers]

1)Do i have any chance if i file the PR application. I am not a SAP manager but have experience with reputed companies of working as Team lead.

2)What proofs need to submitted at various stages of the filing process.
3)Is a covering CV just enough or experience certificates would also be required reflecting the Priority occupation....

4)At what stage all these would be needed.

5)when is the next priority occupation list (of 2009)be made public ?

I shall be greatly obliged if you can help with the aforesaid questions.

Dear SM,

Its not the occupation title but the main duties under
NOC 0213 Computer and Information Systems Managers counts. So, if you have performed a significant portion of those main duties, you should be fine.
