Hi all,
I have a few quick questions about sponsoring a spouse from abroad. The Sponsor would be Canadian Citizen, while the principal applicant (spouse) is from Singapore.
1 - Emails and Western Union receipts (blanked out)
To protect the privacy of email content, would it be acceptable to blank out the content in the email communication between a sponsor and the sponored person?
Would it be acceptable to leave only the ´To´, ´From´, ´Subject´, ´Date´ fields visible for the CIC officers?
Related to that, would it be acceptable to blank out the dollar amount sent for Western Union receipts? Would the application be refused?
2 - Address on the Application
In a situation where the sponsored person is visiting you and has a residential address the same as yours, should the mailing address be that of their home country or can it be your address. Assuming the principal applicant has legal visitor status in Canada.
3 - How many pictures for all the events?
How many pictures should we include for the events? In the event where there were many wedding events (pre wedding celebrations, parties, wedding, reception etc.), how many pictures should be included. The fear here is sending way too many photos, as I understand the VISA / Immigration offices are very busy and don´t have enough time to look at 100 + photos from each spousal sponsorship application.
Are 10 to 30 photos acceptable or should it be closer to approx. 100?

1 - no.
2 - just because he is visiting, that is not his residential address. home country.Note the term VISITOR
3 - quality not quanitity. different locations, different times, different circumstance

Let me tell you straight up somethin about pictures: don´t send pictures in various sexual poses, that will only entertain the CIC agents, who still may see the relationships as vacant, empty and superficial.
