Subject: Landed immigrant status
Having landed immigrant status from 1972-1984 when I left for U.S., I am curious as to whether I would be able to re-enter Canada as am now married with three children, one of whom is attending uiversity in the fall. My husband has a felony for spousal abuse - would that disqualify us? We are business owners, and I have a professional degree. Also have mother, step-father, and a brother living in Canada, and we would like to buy property and move closer to my family.

no problems (in reply to: Landed immigrant status)
You shouldn´t have any problems to enter or move to Canada. Having landed immigrant status at that time should just make things easier.

Teresa,

Did you have problems going back to Canada?

Thanks.
