Having landed immigrant status from 1972-1984 when I left for U.S., I am curious as to whether I would be able to re-enter Canada as am now married with three children, one of whom is attending uiversity in the fall. My husband has a felony for spousal abuse - would that disqualify us? We are business owners, and I have a professional degree. Also have mother, step-father, and a brother living in Canada, and we would like to buy property and move closer to my family.

no problems (in reply to: Landed immigrant status) You shouldn´t have any problems to enter or move to Canada. Having landed immigrant status at that time should just make things easier.

Did you have problems going back to Canada?
Thanks.
