Hi,
We i.e me and my wife and 2 kids are planning to land in Newfoundland,s city Saint john in coming Jan,10 for final settlement.We already landed in Toronto to get the PR card in June.Can anyone please guide me abit about what to expect in Newfoundland?I am a Doctor by profession and I have already applied for the registration in the College there.I want to know is that place safe for a family and how is the housing and education there and also what is the weather there expected in Jan?I would really appreciate any help.

Thanks for rhe reply but I have already done a little research on net I am just hoping to hear from someone who actually lives there or has lived there just to know how they actually feel living in Saint John,s.Any more info is welcome.

Dr sb, It is highly unlikely you will come across many South Asians living in NFL...but it is real amazong town sorounded by full of nature. I am sure, you will enjoy it. Regarding community safety and raising kids, Canada as a whole is safe place except few locations,.I think, NFL is pretty safer city to settle and raise familt.. and guess what, you won´t face enough of the competition to look for a job...

Have you ever been to NFL?Well,lets see how much competition I have to face to find a job there as the Medical system in Canada is extremely complicated.Yup,I am from Pak originally.
