Subject: Proving relationship is real?
I´m new here and hoping to get some advice on a my situation, preferably without being judged.

BF is Canadian, I´m American. We met more than 4 years ago. We were both married and just friends through similar work that we did. 2 years ago we became a couple, however we were both still married at the time (wrong, yes I know). Aside from the morality of the issue, we are now both proceeding with divorces and want to be married as soon as possible. With luck I will be relocating to Canada to be with him and his kids. Because of the fact that we were still married when we began the relationship, I fear it will be difficult to prove that there is indeed a committed relationship. We don´t have a lot of pictures together or phone records. I do have emails going back to the beginning of the relationship, however some of them are not suitable for submittal. Most of my family is not aware of the relationship, mainly because I´m not that close to them and don´t discuss my personal life with them. Some of his family has been told and we have mutual friends that live near him who are aware of our relationship, although most of them only recently found out about it (within the last 6 months).

We have considered getting married and doing an outland sponsorship application but I fear, from reading some of the posts here, that it may be viewed as a marriage of convenience. Can anyone offer advice on how to go about proving that we are, in fact, in a committed relationship even with all these hurdles?

Thank you in advance for your help.

One thing which is a no-no: do not send pictures involving coitus; it doesn´t really prove the closeness of a relationship. Such incident happened before. Anyways, if you get married and start the sponsorship process, all these other details of when and how the relationship started must quiet down. So marry him and move with sponsorship.

Do what you know in your heart is right.

Get everything ready and submit then go visit him while the processing is in process and stay there. Sign the schedule one when your residing in the USA and then come across the border for a visit and be with your man.

Go take a ton of pictures in front of every green tree or in front of buildings or inside malls etc. Lots of costume changes. Get the pictures when he is telling jokes or your both laughing about something.

Get him on messenger or skype web can and take twenty pictures that will overcome any lack of phone bills.

Wish you all the happiness possible but please submit at Buffalo RPC.

I think it goes without saying that I would not submit questionable photos!!! We are taking a trip together next month and plan to get lots of photos then, as well as recent visits by both of us to each other´s homes.

Roy, I´m very new to this process and unfamiliar with the forms needed. What is a schedule one? When you say "visit while in process and stay there" I assume you don´t mean permanently?

Thanks for the responses. Please keep ´em coming!

Yes I do!

When you sign the form your residing in USA then you come for a visit and stay. If your lucky the whole process will be complete within the six months visit term.
