Subject: PRRA initial interview & Sponsorship
  Hello Friends,

My wife, who recently failed her refugee claimant about a month ago, had just received a letter from immigration asking her to come in for an interview at 6900 Airport road, mississuaga.

Am not sure why they are asking her to come in, but i believe, its for the initial PRRA assessment..

The coincidence here is, i just sent in an in-land spousal sponsorship to vegreville about 2 days ago.

Her immigration interview is in 2wks time, by then i believe vegrevvile should have received our application.

My questions is;

1. How does initial PRRA goes, what is she to expect ?

2. Secondly, can she go with a payment receipt,prove of medical and other evidence to show a spousal application is already in progress..?

For those of you who have gone thru this process process , please share you insight

Thank you

Jason

Why would you think that you have to prove anything other then the application was mailed prior to the date on the so called PRRA letter.

Lets hope your not penny wise and pound foolish and mailed it regular mail with no proof of date mailed to save eight dollars!

I bet you they asked her to bring in original phone bills and all their going to do is ensure she reports by phoning in to say I´m Reporting.

Thanks Roy, we did registered mail, I just checked the status, it shows that it has been received and signed for. so she´ll just go there at the scheduled date and time and hear what they have to say.

Thanks Again Roy for your response.

Look again at the date on the letter! When the letter was written it seems to make sense the PRRA type letter was written before you guys submitted and then your boat is sinking.
