Hi there,
I have a question. I applied for the my renew permanent residence one month ago. I will go to my country in one month on December 21th 2009,and I sent the copy of my ticket by mail, but I haven´t receive any notice from them since I apply also I have check my status and said that it´s not in process yet. I was wondering if the PR won´t come at the time that I need it. How can I get out? do i need a special permit like travel permit or something like this?.

No. Special permit for what?
Number one, you are not renewing your PR status, there is no such a thing.
You are probably renewing your PR card. You can get out of the country with or without it. The problem is going to be when you try to board the airplane to come back home. The air carrier will not let you board the plane.
Unless you are driving to the US. Then you won´t need your PR card to return to Canada.
If you make it to the border will let you in. The problem is getting there in the first place.
If you don´t get your PR on time, you are going to have to apply for a temporary travel document at the local Canadian Embassy in the country you are visiting. Make sure you are bringing your CORP and enough evidence to demostrate that you reside in Canada.
As far as the case processing centre goes, your poor planning does not constitute my emergency, so don´t expect to get your PR card before your trip, it may not happen.
