Got a slight problem with my application, I did not declare my new daughter while filling the dependents form, after realising my mistake, I informed cic who told me to send her particulars, they naturally saw that she was born before I submitted my forms and are now asking me to explain why I did not include her originally, I intend telling them the truth, the truth being stupidity, what do you think?

That stupidity will continue to follow you. how on earth can you say you forgot to include your daughter in your application? if I am the CIC officer handling your case i will just disqualify you straight because you are not truthful and sincere. we don´t need someone that can forget to include his daughter in his application in Canada. we need smarts and intelligent people who can read a simple form and comprehend it not lazy and unproductive person like you. what do you take the immigration officer for? a fool? who will buy your lies

I know it might sound incredible but she was not born when I submitted the initial forms last year, I was asked to re submit some forms later this year and I thought hers should not be part of it because she was not in the original forms, when I found out my mistake, I informed cic and I was asked to pay for her processing fee and submit her birth certificate, I did all these and they are now asking me to clarify because I omitted her when filling the dependants form a second time this year. This is the truth, if I am denied so be it, my family is more important than any canadian visa. As per intelligence, we all make mistakes, even stupid ones. By the way, she is ten months old and I filed June 2008.

Truth is the easiest thing to say. I think you may write a letter to explain that you did not include your new born baby at the second time because that would be different with the original documentation. You were afraid to misrepresent, or something like that.
