Subject: denied spouse
  hi to all,
i was deported from the state due to a illegal status , i had a student visa but i didnt leave when it expired . i got married overthere to a canadian spouse before the deportation (i was legal but i didnt have money to apply as spouse sponrship). So after the deportation we came to my home country (lebanon) and we apllied from there as spouse sponsorhip to the canadian embassy in syria. After 18 month they denied me coz i was deported from usa saying i can reapply after 2 years .
Is this normal according to law and wats my chances when i reapply after 2 years ?
Do u think the denial is going to affect my case.( i have no criminal record either in lebanon or USA).
now my wife is pregnant ,do u think they will take this into consideration.

You were denied because you lied! You got excluded for two years because you forgot to mention you were deported from the states!

You can do another application and apply for an ARC if your marriage is real and you can prove that.

Mario

You and your sponsor (wife) got a letter why you were EXCLUDED for two years for misrepresentation and it explained it clearly.

Misrepresentation comes in all forms, out and out lies, omissions, forgetting to put down you lived in the states, failing to provide PCC proof of Criminal Convictions, evidence of deportation etc.

Without having the evidence in front of me I am answering you based, on my experience, of seeing similair cases.

Wish it was a different answer but.......

YOU MIGHT GET AN ARC based on your personal circumstances. Read the refusal letter again.

So Roy, my wife talked to 2 lawyers(before our talk) , they said its better to wait for 2 years and reapply because if they deny the appeal they will excluded me for 5 years.. Nobody mention anything about ARC. As i understood from you ARC is different than an appeal.
what will happen if they deny the ARC ?and what is my chances
can my wife do something ,she is in Canada now?

I got my disapproval for permanent residence because my husband is inadmissable to Canada on health grounds, as a result I am also inadmissable. Is it possible that I can apply by myself without accompanying my husband? Please reply on my email. Thanks

yes, but you have to qualify on your own merits and you will likely face some questions about whether you will attempt to sponsor him once you are in Canada.
