depends on what kind of work you do. Newfoundland does not have much of an economy so many local people are moving away to find work. It is a lovely scenic part of the country- people are friendly.

Manitoba... Winnipeg has opportunities. more chances for work in Manitoba.

Who said there are no jobs in Newfoundland? I was recently offered a teaching position. Whoever it is who sought advice: Are you well trained? Do you have a doctorate in sciences and a few years of research and independent work experience? If so let me know, I might recommend your name to them. I am foregoing that offer... Right now I am drawing several times the salary they proposed, but it is enough for a man without other opportunities.
