Subject: MY SAD LOVE STORY :-(
OK SO IT´S A LONG STORY...
TO MAKE IT SHORTER I THINK POINT FORM DOES IT BEST.

-IN THE YEAR 2000 MY HUSBAND WAS 16YEARS OLD AND CAME TO CANADA WITH HIS MOTHER, FATHER AND 2 BROTHERS. THEY ARE FROM SANTIAGO, CHILE. THEY APPLIED FOR REFUGEE STATUS. THEY COULD ONLY SPEAK SPANISH AT THE TIME AND WERE ADVISED BY A LAWYER TO DO SO. ( FOR WHATEVER REASON)

-OVER THE NEXT 8 YEARS THAT CASE WAS DENIED...ONE OF THE BROTHERS MOVED BACK TO CHILE TO GO TO SCHOOL...THE REST OF THE FAMILY APPLIED FOR OTHER STATUS´S. THERE LAST RESORT WAS HUMANITARIAN AND COMPASSION. IN AUGUST 2009 THEY RECEIVED A LETTER FROM THE GOVERNMENT STATING THERE WAS A ANSWER TO THERE CASE. TO COME IN SEPTEMBER 9,2009. THE CASE WAS DENIED.

-THEY TOLD MY HUSBAND(FINANCE AT THE TIME) AND HIS FAMILY THEY HAD TO LEAVE BY DECEMBER 5,2009. ONE OF THE OFFICIALS TOLD HIM THAT WE COULD APPLY FOR COMMON LAW AND HE WOULD STILL HAVE TO LEAVE BY DECEMBER 5TH BUT COULD COME BACK...IT HAS BEEN A VERY HARD LAST FEW MONTHS. WE WERE PLANNING ON BOTH MOVING TO CHILE. HIM LEAVING DECEMBER 5,2009, AND I WOULD LEAVE JUNE 19,2009. I RECEIVED A PROMOTION AT WORK AS WELL AS GOT EXCEPTED INTO SCHOOL. I AM NOT READY TO LEAVE. I WAS ALSO NOT READY TO LIVE WITH OUT THIS MAN. I HAD SHARED SO MANY HAPPY TIMES WITH, LAUGHED WITH CRIED WITH. I WAS NOT READY.

-WE HAD TALKED ABOUT THE COMMON-LAW SPONSORSHIP...AND AFTER A BRIEF PHONE CALL TO THE CANDIDA IMPREGNATION CALL CENTER, I DECIDED TO MARRY MY FIANCE WITH OUT MY FAMILY...OR A WHITE DRESS. HE WAS ACTUALLY AGAINST THE IDEA SINCE HE NEW HOW MUCH I WANTED TO WEAR A BEAUTIFUL DRESS....

-ON NOVEMBER 21,2009 * YESTERDAY * WE WERE MARRIED AT A JUSTICE OF THE PEACE. A COURT APPOINTED OFFICIAL´S HOME.

-I UNDERSTAND HE HAS TO LEAVE THE COUNTRY ON DECEMBER 5,2009. I AM NOT TRYING TO STOP THAT. I AM PREPARED TO GO TO VISIT HIM WHILE OUR APPLICATION IS BEING PROCESSED.

MY QUESTION IS HOW WILL THEY INTERVIEW US? WHAT IS THE BEST THING I CAN DO TO MAKE SURE THAT IN 12-36 MONTHS HE WILL BE BACK IN MY ARMS??? IS THERE A CHANCE IT WILL NOT BE APROVED???? PLEASE HELP!!
PLEASE HELP!!!

the CANDIDA IMPREGNATION CALL CENTER?

make sure you have lots of verification of your relationship. Outland application allows you to appeal so don´t be tempted to file any sort of inland app. Inland also takes longer.

Canadida Impregnation call center?

sorry about the spelling...Thanks for the advice :) (in reply to: MY SAD LOVE STORY :-()
The " Canidan Immigration Call Center. " The spell check on my computer switched it , and I did not notice.

What sort of verification do I need?

What is an "outland application"? I had not been told about this.

What would I appeal? Is there a chance he may not be able to come back home?? ( home to our house in Calgary,Canada)

Thank you so very much for the advice. Besides the question´s I asked is there any other tips you could have for me to make this go the easy way??

Thank you so much.

before you do anything else, take the time to read all the materials on the CIC website under family class. Then go into the manuals that are published on line to learn what immigration officers look for.

Outland means filing as if he is living out of the country (even if he is ´visiting you´ in Canada)

in the mean time, start gathering up proof that your relationship is real - joint bank accounts, car loans, rental agreements, photos etc. You are going to have to show that you did not get married as a way for him to get back into the country.

There is no easy way. read everything 10 times, tell the truth, and take your time with your documents.

Listen to me girl... Be happy and move with your man to Chile and develop a career there. I visited Chile for a couple months and was stunned by the beauty of their high-land country. There is a very nice University in Santiago and you can do many different studies there. The climate is wonderful and the ocean front is just a few hours drive. Go live there and find work in tourism and go to school AND marry the guy. You can leisurely apply for his residency and move back years later.. There is a good chance that you may like the place and live there for the long haul. If you drive to the highlands, they have great wineyards and very nice cultural atmosphere. Good luck!
