Subject: Advice Help Please!!
  Hi,
I´m just curious as to what my fiance needs when she comes from the uk to canada ( documents and such ). she is a uk resident and im a canadian citizen, she is coming to canada in january so we can get married but im not sure if she needs to let them know that she is getting married or, not, and just come as a visitor and get married then apply for spousal sponsorship?

i just dont want her to reach the airport and they send her back or some stupid thing like that , im not even sure if they would do that even but that is how much stress its causing me...:( i have nothing to hide and just want things to go smooth.

i look forwards and really really really do appreciate any replies, thanks you for your help.

she is NOT coming to get married and she better not have her pots and pans in her suitcase.

Even if she is here visiting... apply OUTLAND.

yes, it is possible but we are telling you not to do it.

It takes over twice as long for approval, she can´t work (either way) and should something go sideways, there is zero option to appeal a ruling. If she tells them she is intending to get married and stay in Canada while she waits for an immigration approval they will stick her back on the plane to the UK so fast you won´t know what hit you.

CIC hates being in the position of saying no to someone while they are in the country and then trying to get them to leave voluntarily.

While she is snuggled up beside you on the sofa... file an outland application as if she is still living in the UK and in Canada visiting you for a few weeks.

no wedding dress, pots, pans or any other such item that will give border officials any kind of clue that she has no intention of going home... or you will be hooped.

hey (in reply to: Advice Help Please!!)
i dont mind that she cant work, i understand that part.
if she comes what documents must she need? like she is my fiance, so if she were to come to canada and stay here after she got married , what documents must she have before she comes so it could prevent her form going back to the uk, the reason i am doing it inland is because we are so heart broken all the time and we travel so much to see each other so i think its about time we are together for good....p.s also have a daughter
just out of curiousity, what are some things that could make our application go to appeal, i mean we are prefectly clean and legite. right, especially if i get a representative to help us or a lawyer?
thanks

OK Richy... park the heart. you are not listening.

If border officials suspect her intent is to remain in Canada, they will not let her off the plane. She is coming to see Niagra falls or to meet up with friends. Where is the child? She may require a letter of authorization from the father to take the child out of the UK. (new twist to your drama)

When we say outland, that does not mean she goes back to the UK. It means you apply AS IF she were still there.

a child does not guarantee immigration. Does she have any criminal convictions? There are endless things that can trigger a rejected application. Errors in the forms can trigger a rejection. Her story not matching your story can trigger a rejection.

Trust us on this one. File an OUTLAND application... even if she is sitting right beside you in Canada. Her permanent address is in the UK.

now do you get it?????????

hey (in reply to: Advice Help Please!!)
ooooo ok i get what your saying sorry for that,
i didnt know you could do that , hmm, you make a very good point, and the child is hers, she is in full custody and to be honest there is no father, never was, left her when she was pregnant and never heard form since, she didnt collect anything from him never heard or spoke to him , he is not on birth certificate and i verifified it with cic what the situation was and they said its fine if there is no father on the birth certificate. but as for the OUT of canada application, so would they know? is that illegal , wow thats a smart idea, fill me in with more info. is there anyway i can talk to u on phone, i can call, all this help from you is like a christmas present to me, your a great help

yes to all your questions.

Do not file one single document until she gets off the plane. That way nobody is lying.
