Subject: Dear Sharon, Roy, anyone please

I have selected the option of returning my passports by registered mail. I have few questions to ask as follows:
1. Do I have to pay for returning my passports by registered mail?
2. Then, What is diffrence between Airmail (I understand this one is regular one) and registered mail?
3. I delivered my passports through Fedex BUT for the return I selected the registered mail instead, will this be a problem?

Thank you for your time for replying.

For question 1, I would ask to the respective office - cic or consulate- directly, if i were you. It´s not good idea to ask important question like getting back your original passport in public forum.

-YES

2. Then, What is diffrence between Airmail (I understand this one is regular one) and registered mail?

- Regular mail doesn´t give you a tracking number, registered mail does.

3. I delivered my passports through Fedex BUT for the return I selected the registered mail instead, will this be a problem?

- NO, but why don´t get your passport back in the same way you send it? You can ask the consulate to send it back "collect" via Fedex or UPS which ever you prefer.

Thank you for your time for replying.

And for anonymouns response, so what? he/she is not disclosing any relevant information that can affect his/her delivery.
