| Subject: foreign divorce decree |
Does anyone know if foreign divorce decrees are recognized in Canada (Alberta)? And what are the steps of registering the dicree here in Canada? I hope we don´t have to go through the same divorce process here again.

The Canada divorce act states you can have a divorce if the divorce was done in the country where you NORMALLY RESIDE.
