Due to the severe case load at the Toronto Immigration Appeal Division the Toronto IAD are transferring hundreds of spousal appeals to Montreal IAD.
Then they will be heard in Toronto via video conference.
The pros and cons.
You´re more likely to have your case heard sooner.
The member will only be able to see part of the goings on in the hearing room via camera. Body language of the appellant, or either counsels could be missed. Viewing anything live is far better then watching same on a small screen.
