Subject: PR CARD QUESTION
On what basis can a canadian pr card be revoked? If the person who was sponsored doesnt have a stable address? Hasnt notified CIC of address change? Its going to be one year since the issuance of the card in february. Also... why doesnt CIC followup on sponsors and the sponsored spouses? I dont get it?

A PR without a stable address?
So? Who cares?

A PR doesn´t have to have a "stable address" and a PR doesn´t have to inform CIC about it either.
Get your facts right, and why on earth CIC has to follow up with sponsors?
Simple.... If the person who has been sponsored is using government resources, the sponsor has to pay back.
Just like that.

Doc D, you´re such an idiot. It´s people that have trains of thoughts like you that are ruining our country. If a person is sponsored and comes to canada on a spousal sponsorship, he/she must inform CIC of address changes. That´s for sure. And yes, CIC should do follow up with sponsors and their sponsored spouses, to see if they are infact in a genuine relationship. Everyone has the right to ask questions here. ´Get your facts right´ That makes now sense... he/she didnt even state any facts. I think DocD needs to get his facts right.

As a PR you do not have to inform cic of address change once you land ( the only address they ask about is when landing so you can get your card) this I can attest to after all you are easily tracked with ALL your other government issued id
They only care if the new PR goes on welfare than they sponsor has to pony up.

So I take it from your antics here that you just want to call people names.

Ok Moron lets doe that for a while

Vicki J,

An immigrant only has to notify CIC of a change of address in order to receive his/her PR card. That´s it after that the immigrant can move where ever he/she wants on their on free will and accord. Without notifying no one.

You said:

You are more than welcome to show me in the CIC manual operanda says that.

Stupidity is a condition, ignorance is a choice.
