Subject: Travelling to canada from USA without PR card
I landed in Canada in Oct 2009. I receibved a letter in mail that my Photo was not according to the requirements hence i need to come for photo. My problem is that i travelled back to USA after landing.
So i need to travel to Canada again. I am planning to go by Car. Please advise if i need to apply for travel document or COPR and passport is enough

You "traveled" back to the US,or you moved back?

At any rate, it shouldn´t be a problem if you are a US citizen. Your canceled visa in your passport ought to be sufficient. Be totally honest at the border; if you haven´t yet moved permanently to Canada (which is sounds like you haven´t) don´t lie about it. Be upfront about your intentions, why you didn´t stay in Canada after landing and such. They are plenty used to Americans going home for a short while to wrap up their lives before moving permanently (assuming this is your situation).

I am not a US citizen. I am an indian citizen. I travelled to USA because i had to give notice to my employer as i was working.
MY question is can i travel back to canada with COPR and passport by car or do i need travel document?

Yes, you can as long as you drive. It doesn´t matter if you are or not a US citizen.
