is there an equal opportunity for everyone?? because i noticed here that majority of migrants wise or otherwise comes from india! what about those from eastern europe? asia, besides china? and central and south america?
maybe canada just wants people here just to have somebody clean the toilet bowls for just $9.00 an hour. so that the CEO´s get more money or crown corporation executives get fat bonuses all the time..
or this country is SO screwed up that we worry too much about climate change that some fundamentals in our society were neglected instead...
well, just try to calculate how many babies are born to each family as compared to the rest of canadian population..plus they go home to marry someone and then that someone comes to canada then starts to bring their parents who in turn bring their other children who in turn go back and then marry..so on ..and on.
and then try to compute the number exponentially.. in the next 20 years how many you got?
maybe i should go back to mumbai then..

I think you are in Toronto..Come to Vancouver and see how many Asians (Chinese) you have..You can see "generations" from them while walking on the streets..
If Canadian do not follow what the States does to maintain the diversity in the population, some ethnics will dominate and others will be minorities!
It seems that the Canada just want people to "purge" money into the market...If no one migrates to Canada, the country will be totally different.

there are hundreds of immigration forums. This one happens to have a large number of Indian applicants. Others have a large latino following or a family class focus. Others are UK centric.
I don´t know what the big deal is. Canada has a quota for each country it accepts immigrants from. That´s why the waits are so long from one region and not the other.

Canadian´s themselves care about climate change and since we all live on a basically round planet how can one take opposing sides on this issue?
Section 3 of IRPA states very clearly family reunification is an objective of the Immigration Act so run for Parliament to change things. Maybe then we will still have a planet to live on because enough Canadian politicians will care about climate change.

Canada should follow the States Diversity visa system where only applicants from certain countries can apply for Immigration. So that applicants from big countries like China and India don´t flood Canada. The CIC points system is better than the US DV lotto though. I have seen in the States Indian and Chinese companies only hire their countrymen at a slave wage.
