Hello to everyone on this forum.
We go straight forward to the question that is frustrating me....
I am currently employed in France and my currently employer may transfer me in our us subsidiary...
However, I am expecting my canadian PR in next few months...
Can anyone here please answer my below queries
1) Can i get L1 visa by living in canada ..but since i have worked with the parent company in france..( it is more than 2 years since i am working with the parent company..)
2) if in case i get L1A or LIB, do i need to stay in usa or can i transit for a few days in usa and then living in canada...
Thanks to all who can contribute..to solve my puzzles...
Best regards,

There are two separate things here.
You can work in the US under the L1 visa and live in Canada. Though you have to cross the border everyday that means that you still have to clear US customs every day and hopefully never have any issues.
The other thing is that you are going to have to pay taxes in both countries, you work in the US and reside in Canada. You will make the tax man a happy person.
