I have been hearing from scattered sources that Immigration Canada is going to change the current FSW system from January, 2010? They are going to harden the process by increasing the points from 67 to anything more than that and also chance of reducing the current 38 occupational list.
I´m also hearing that there has been series of meetings took place headed by Minister of Immigration Canada about this possible changes which might be announced in January, 2010. The problem is they might make it retroactive. thats the real Concern.
Anyone with Trusted Information regarding this?

where exactly did you hear this?
1) will the 38 NOC codes ever change - yes, that the entire idea of the list - to reflect Canada´s needs in a timely manner. Have we heard that the list is about to change - no
2) have we heard that the points will change No, but that does not mean it will never happen.
there have been changes made to the refugee program (making it harder) and homecare worker program (making it easier) but that is all we have heard about.
and if it were true... what could any of us do about it. It is what it is.
