Subject: Citizenship test -no passports |

My cousin and her son have recently received their letter to attend the citizenship test. They inform me that they have been asked to go with their current passports. They inform me that when they received their permanent residence they received back their passports which had expired - when they tried to renew their passports in 2005, their embassy with held their passports. As they wanted to travel around - they obtained travel documents - which they have been using since. What will happen if they do not have the passports at the test? before i ask them to call Citizenship Canada - is there any one with this experience?
Thanks
