Hi there,
I applied PR in Feb 2007, and got a letter in Oct 2008 asking me to update my documents. I updated all of my documents in Feb 2009.
In July, I got my Master´s degree, and I updated it immediately. In December, I took General IELTS test, and I got my score: L 8.0, R 7.5, W 7.0 and S 6.0. Should I update it now? or should I wait for their further requirement?

When my app was under processing, I was updating the CIC with every single progress that I might think will affect my scoring. They were recording every letter they received in the system (I knew that when I ordered my CAIPS notes).

You don´t loose anything by submitting it. It only strengthens your application, especiilly that your scores are good. On the other hand if you wait till you are asked to submit it, then you will be delaying your application processing time.
