Hi Roy/Sharon,
It´s 49 months now of waiting of my file to finalize yet I receive no new information from embassy about my case as of this writing. On line status still in progress.
Is it possible that letters from embassy did not reach me and eventually deny my application like the case of the other applicants that I knew? I have not changed my address and the last time that I received a letter from them was on Nov 2008 asking confirmation if I will continue my application or not. Since then, I´ve got no letter from them.

You can email them but do not expect a response. Unfortunately there is nothing to do but waiting and waiting...

Hi Vic, you must try to contact them as soon as possible to find out the status of your application... you can easily reach the Canadian High Commission office where you sent your application via email... look for their email on the CIC website... it is under the option: Contact Us... follow the instructions... you will need to provide your immigration file number (this should have been given to you a while after your application was received)...
Write to them, they will reply... it may take one or two days... but they will reply if not keep on asking them until they answer you.

WHAT TYPE OF APPLICATION???
If it a FSW prior to the Ministerial Instructions of the NOC 38 expect another 5 year wait.
